Faith in athletics

Have you guys ever heard of Steph Curry?? haha of course you have!! Steph Curry is a highly decorated basketball player apart of the Golden State Warriors basketball team. Whether you are a Lebron or Curry fan, you cannot deny that Steph faced many challenged before he has gotten to where he is today.

I always thought it was very interesting how Steph conducted himself on the court. I don't particularly enjoy players that puff themselves up and don't show much humility on the court. That is why I thought it was really interesting when I was shared this article about Steph and his faith. As a criticism of Steph, his body language on the court should represent a player that is more "we" not "me" based but that's just my opinion.

As a player myself who depends on God a lot in my athletics, I believe that I have an amazing opportunity through my blessings to bless those around me by sharing God and who He truly is. I believe that as an athlete you are placed in the spotlight many times where people are watching you very closely.
